Attorney Shannon Murphy Barnes is a strong advocate for her clients.Shannon Murphy Barnes  Attorney Barnes recognizes that being a strong advocate often means assisting clients in resolving their disputes without resorting to litigation.  In furtherance of this belief Attorney Shannon Barnes is a trained mediator and collaborative attorney in addition to having 15 years of experience in divorce litigation. Attorney Barnes has served on the board of the North Shore Community Mediation Center and is currently serving on the combined board of Merrimack Valley/North Shore Legal Services and Neighborhood Legal Services.

Since 1997, Attorney Kelly A. Leighton has vigorously litigated all aspects of domestic relations cases for her clients, with special emphasis on custody disputes, support and alimony issues, and the challenges presented by cases involving domestic violence.  In addition to litigation involving high-conflict cases, Attorney Leighton has appellate experience, as well as an interest in policy and legislative matters involving family law. She was a member of the Massachusetts Legislature’s Alimony Reform Task Force, the committee who drafted the recently-enacted Alimony Reform Act of 2011. She is co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Family Law Steering Committee, as well as a Board Member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
